Lift filming plans for the summer

I apologize for my hiatus from both in-person & virtual lift filming. My schedule was a lot busier & more rigorous as I was anticipating & I had to reprioritize my time towards studying to keep up with my grades. However, my semester & the fiasco is done & I am back.

Recap since the hiatus

During my hiatus, I turned 21 & went to Atlantic City during the weekend of February 12, where I filmed the fastest set of Schindler 700A lifts you could find in NJ. Video premiered on May 13 at 11:00 AM.

Additionally, I had wisdom tooth removal surgery on May 13 at 10:30 AM, which rendered me out of commission for the following 3 weeks as I've been back & forth to & from the dentist since for checkups & cleanings.

In January, I have replaced my Honda CR-V with a 2020 Acura MDX, which is my third dream vehicle behind the Toyota 4Runner & Lexus GX. For more information, private message me on Discord.

However, I'm back now.

Minor rebranding campaign

I have decided to change my channel slug from Toyotis4Runner4437Gen2 to Lahto, shorthand for Lexus + Acura + Honda + Toyota + OTIS, since I'm picking up a passion for cars as well as lifts & it being that my 8 dream vehicles are the Lexus GX, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Sequoia, Acura MDX, Honda Passport, Honda Pilot, Lexus RX & Toyota Highlander.

Plans for this Friday

The plan is to film each of the lifts at Westfield Garden State Plaza that I did not get to film during the 2021 lift galore. After that, the plan is to film the KONE lifts at 747 Jersey 17 N in Paramus before heading to the lift filming studio in Scotch Plains to edit & create the premiere. The premiere is scheduled for June 12 at 2:00 PM.

What I've filmed since

Since the last virtual lift video that went up on January 14, I have filmed in-person the following lifts:
  • February 12 (Sheraton Atlantic City) - Premiere May 13 at 11:00 AM
  • April 28 (Green Lane Building - Kean University) - Premiere May 13 at 2:00 PM

Agenda this summer

Due to the Beno Building Creator being taken down indefinitely, there are no longer plans to film lifts virtually until further notice. Therefore, the lift filming plans this summer are tentative to the following:
  • June 10: Westfield Garden State Plaza & 747 NJ Route 17 North [COMPLETED]
  • July 8: Secaucus, NJ
  • July 15: Random office buildings throughout Freehold Township, NJ
  • August 6-9: Either one of the following:
    • Atlantic City (Ocean Resort, Harrah's Resort, Bally's Resort, Resorts, or wildcard)
    • Roosevelt Field Mall ~ Garden City, NY
    • Palisades Mall (West Nyack, NY) & Stamford Town Center (Stamford, CT)
    • Menlo Park Mall, Monmouth Mall & Shops at Riverside Hackensack
There is no lift filming agenda again until the summer of 2023 when I graduate from Kean University unless the virtual option is back.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
