AF 5/6

By now, it should be completely obvious that we are still on the fence about where we want to go this summer. As of right now, the family plans all have ideas for going anywhere in the Charlotte Kingdom or Carolina Family, even if a trip was to take place anywhere in New Jersey, or Connecticut, even outside of Atlantic City, Secaucus, Hartford, Stamford or New Haven.

The Charlotte Kingdom changes have been in place since April 25, but I am deciding to keep the changes private until my formal return to YouTube on June 16 or later.

Speaking of Atlanta, there is a very low chance Atlanta is happening. I have not created any more PB trends since early March, but from the past Fort Lauderdale & supposed Los Angeles trip which was supposed to happen back in December 2017, but failed miserably, both you and I can expect a 3% chance of going to Atlanta this summer as of this moment.
Both you and I can expect a 3% chance of going to Atlanta this summer as of this moment.
Speaking of Charlotte Kingdom, there will now be 32 cities in the Kingdom starting June 23 when I finish making my changes to my YouTube channel, Google+ page, wiki page, website & info chart:

  1. Charlotte
  2. Asheville
  3. Indianapolis
  4. Saint Louis
  5. Kansas City
  6. San Diego
  7. San Francisco
  8. Sacramento
  9. Los Angeles
  10. Houston
  11. Dallas
  12. San Antonio
  13. Plano
  14. Frisco
  15. Austin
  16. Fort Lauderdale
  17. Miami
  18. Orlando
  19. Sarasota
  20. Tampa
  21. Atlanta
  22. Pittsburgh
  23. Milwaukee
  24. Chicago
  25. Hartford
  26. New Haven
  27. Stamford
  28. White Plains
  29. Rochester
  30. Buffalo
  31. Atlantic City
  32. Secaucus
  33. San Angelo will get its placement asap
Because I have so many cities to choose from for my graduation trip, I am going to need to tone down the guidelines for my research project & condense the amount of research I need to do, by only focusing on the worst public lifts in each city, as those are the lifts I will want to film first when I visit my city of choice.

There are ideas about Fort Lauderdale & discussions have made us going to Fort Lauderdale a bit more likely, at around 12%. I am not particularly excited to go to Fort Lauderdale because I want to film some lifts that have true character from the 1980s & 1990s, not a lift with modern character (even a lift from the 2000's will make me happy). If we do go to Fort Lauderdale, I do not want to stay in the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Beach. Instead, I want to stay in the 6-story Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Weston hotel which has far nicer ThyssenKrupp Impulse lifts from the early 2000's.

The likelihood of us going to Atlanta is at 3%, while the likelihood of us going to Fort Lauderdale is between 9 & 12%.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
