SPRING BREAK IN SUMMARY WHAT TO EXPECT FROM NOW UNTIL JUNE 17

Lifts I filmed over my week off from school:

  • Schindler 400A MRL glass lift in a 9-story courthouse carpark in Elizabeth NJ near KEAN University
  • KONE MCE glass lift (Embassy Suites in Secaucus)
  • KONE HORNRTDISC MonoSpace lift (Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights Township)
  • Schindler M-Series lift (Nordstrom, short hills mall)
  • OTIS Elevonic 411 lift from 1991 (Nordstrom, Menlo Park Mall)

All lifts were filmed OUTSIDE of Clinton Township unless otherwise noted!

What will I do with all of these lift videos?

Since I have FINALLY found a viable movie maker on my android phone complete with an intro maker app, I am now able to create the same types of videos on my Android which meet the same expectations as I have for the kinds of videos that I create on my Windows PC. At the price of less time needed to spruce up the videos and automatic upload to the cloud, all I simply need to do is upload the videos from Google Photos to YouTube, saving many steps along the way. However, they are already up on my YouTube channel, scheduled for June 17.

When will the lift videos be uploaded to YouTube?

As of right now, uploads to YouTube will take place on June 17, from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM. Any lifts that I have filmed between February 9 and April 19 will count as bonus lift videos that will be going up on June 19 at 8:30 AM.

When will my next lift filming day be?

If all circumstances play in my favor, then my next lift filming days will be May 25 and 26 (but not May 27). This will happen if I either get no homework for the weekend or I finish all my potential weekend homework on May 24, in addition to studying for any pre-planned tests for the week after and finishing all weekend project tasks on May 24. It will be a NO-STUDYING weekend for final exams. In order for it to happen, ALL of the following circumstances must apply:

  • I must have FEWER THAN 2 pre-planned tests that are NO MORE than 50 POINTS EACH with a difficulty of no higher than 3 taking place the next week
  • I must have a 93.20 OR HIGHER for at least four classes that I have CONSISTENTLY been scoring “A” marks on the report cards for the previous 3 marking periods in a row.
  • I must currently be exempt from at least four final exams by that point as of that date, with at least TWO of those classes being graduation requirements.
  • My worst grade as of that date for a graduation requirement must be a “B”.

The same circumstances apply for the weekend of May 31st with an additional circumstance:

  • I must be going to prom with someone in order for lift filming that weekend to take place. Otherwise, lift filming plans will be canceled, I won’t go to prom and I will take advantage of the extra time I have on my hands to study for the final exams in the classes I am currently NOT exempt in from finals.

If I am able to attend the graduation ceremony on June 13 in addition to getting a diploma AND report card in my hands at 5:15 PM on June 13, then once I return from school on the morning of June 14, lift filming plans outside of Clinton Township will be discussed, REGARDLESS of what the grades on my final report card and transcript looked like right before the diploma was placed in my hands. All Tower 2919 Security chats on YouTube will get a notification of my public school completion status at either 5:15 PM on June 13 or 7:00 PM on June 13.

If I do NOT have a diploma in my hands by 5:15 PM on June 13 but I have a report card, lift filming will still begin for the summer on June 17. I will PROBABLY return to Short Hills Mall.

When will updates come up on the MLIFT256 Journals?

Update journal posts will show up at 7:00 PM each Wednesday afternoon until June 12 at 7:00 PM. These updates will mostly talk about how I’m doing in my final month and a half of public school, and where my KEAN acceptance status stands (as of right now I am still accepted, and I hope to keep that acceptance status as accepted all through the first day of classes). Updates will be written over the weekend every Saturday anywhere from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

How can one be updated in real-time?

Since Google+ is no longer available, unfortunately, I will not be able to update in real-time. Instead, you’ll have to look out for journal posts coming up each Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. LIFT FILMING AGENDA UPDATE 1.25.2019 & WILL CHICAGO BE CROWNED THE NEW KING?

Chicago holds a high possibility of being crowned first place . What if I told you that Chicago has some rare and exotic lifts that you probably won’t find in many other places in the U.S.? That is an existence a lift filmer will be delighted with when they go to the city of Chicago. My four figures of reference were: WI Sirens and Elevators Elevators of Lake County CHI Elevators Windy City Elevators Because I have found so many outstanding Montgomery, Dover, SchindlerHaughton, Westinghouse and KONE lifts throughout the city of Chicago, it wouldn’t be sensible for me to write it all under one big blog post, because it would be a big waste of time for me to go into big, elaborate detail on what made each lift stand out. QUICK RUNDOWN OF THE NORMAL BEHAVIOR OF A 700A

Tallest 700A’s I have been on Arguably, at 20 stories, these have been the tallest Schindler 700A’s I have EVER been on, and the first I’ve been on in a hotel. However, I have noticed some interesting characteristics of the Schindler 700A in mid to high rise applications. Epic lifts indeed To start off, these lifts had absolutely incredible acceleration, deceleration and leveling. They take off like rockets and travel at a mindblowing speed of 120 meters per minute, despite serving a travel distance of 55-60 meters. The deceleration is similar to the Schindler 700A’s at the Nordstrom store at the Mall at Short Hills, as it smoothly phases into its full deceleration mode. In terms of character, these lifts do tend to make a little bit of noise and shake on the way up and down the tower. Car 3 makes a very loud screeching noise as it accelerates towards level 17 going down, which I find to make the ride even more fun.
