Lift Details Original Brand | Baxter & Sons Modernised Brand | Kone Power | Submersible Standard Hydraulic Lift Character Report Appearance | 757 (Great) Run Character | 718 (Great) Appearance Appearance: 757 / ~4.2 stars (Great) Fixtures: 0:08-0:26 Cab: 0:11-0:15 Analysis At first glance, as the lift door opens to the right, we’re greeted with a light wooden cab interior with tiled down hanging fluorescent translucent lighting of a slightly warmer tone. The handrails are pretty basic standard brushed steel. To the left of the video on frame, we see a super nice white-illuminated Kone proprietary lantern with a typical Kone chime.   Happy New Year everyone! I am so glad that 2020 is over. Anyway, for the first lift of 2021, we got ourselves a basic standard heavy duty Generic (brand assumed unknown) from 2014 which replaced a former Gurney from the ‘920s when this building was built. This specific lift is located in the center column of the Lackawanna Warehouse building in Jersey City, just up the street from the Home Depot store with the Kone MiniSpaces. Full lift character report available here . Appearance This lift appears to be a great lift with a score of 728. Fixtures The fixtures are great GAL VR. They appear to have deteriorated slightly since my last ride on it in 2018 but they are still holding up well for such heavy use. Cab Interior The cab interior is basic standard . It is a stainless steel cab meant to double up as a service lift while minimising vandalism. Lighting The lighting is epic & awesome & adds a wild vibe to the lift.   Instructions Set up a Jotform account by signing up to Jotform with your Google Account (The one you use to manage your YouTube Channel) by going to www.jotform.com .  Once you’re in Jotform, click the button ‘Create Form’ then click ‘Start from Scratch’ .   Top 3 Best Lifts of the Week Best lift of the week The best lift of the week takes the cake at the #1 spot as a 1995 Montgomery Twinkie-M hydraulic lift which received a slap-on modernisation by EXCEL Elevator Corporation in 2018. The motor and logic are still completely original from when this thing was installed in 1995. It is very fast for the 3-floor distance it travels & also being a hydraulic. It takes forever to level but it is still very epic since it drops like a stone when going down and jolts violently going upward. The fixtures add a soothing touch to the lift & the dim crown lighting design gives it a relaxing vibe. This lift not only has character & class but it has style as the modernisation was done in such a way that the original character has not been compromised in any way while making the lift even more beautiful. Before I delve any further, I would like to say that it has been a WONDERFUL first 5 years as a Tier I (First Year) & Tier II (Dedicated) lift filmer! I have definitely experienced my ups & downs as a lift filmer, but let’s recap with the 3 best experiences I’ve had as a lift filmer which have contributed greatly to my YouTube Channel: 3 | Hartford & New Haven (December 2017) We went to Hartford & Cromwell in October 2017 & again in December 2017 for the 2017 close-out family trip in preparation for the 2018 trip to Atlantic City. Possibly, my favorite highlights of the trip were the two Otis lifts at my hotel (one I got stuck in for 3 minutes). The other Otis lift I didn’t get stuck in received a fresh modernisation by Otis from Series 1 to Series 2 by the second visit two months later.
