Your FIRST Atlanta trip probability update

Fort Lauderdale IS OUT!

The Fort Lauderdale ideas planned for March / April 2018 are officially out of the bucket list! Obviously I am a little upset about Fort Lauderdale & (possibly Miami as well) not happening this year but at least I have two, now THREE possible emergency plans for March 29-April 5. Here was what was our in our bucket list on New Year's Day 2018:
  • Charlotte
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Miami
  • Atlanta
  • Pittsburgh
  • Hartford
  • New Haven
  • Secaucus
Sadly, plans have changed quite drastically & as a result, some options above might not be happening until 2019 or even LATER, as well as having unlikelihood probabilities of happening this year at all. Furthermore, there is a 50% chance that I will be graduating high school in 2019 & a 50% chance that I will be graduating high school in 2020. This is what our bucket list looks like right now:
  • Charlotte
  • Atlanta
  • Pittsburgh
  • Hartford
  • Secaucus

The good part

The good part is that even if we WERE to go to Fort Lauderdale during the Spring of 2018, judging by the failures that happened during last year's Fort Lauderdale trip, I would not be able to put a clear & accurate itinerary before the trip. The itinerary would simply be fabric!

Atlanta

So far, there is STILL A CHANCE that we could be going to Atlanta, Georgia (And I'd very much love to go), during the summer of 2018. Sadly, this time, I was not able to include a graph to represent the likelihood of us going over a certain period of time (that will start on January 28). However, what I do know is that Atlanta is my goal.

The idea has been conceived on the evening of December 31st 2017. By following the same pattern as Los Angeles, I could make the most accurate predictions & most realistic projected forecasts for you in the future. Here is what I know so far:
  • The probability of us going to Atlanta will not go above 10 percent during the months of January through April of 2018, unless otherwise stated.
  • The probability of us going to Charlotte is always 20 percent of the probability of us going to Atlanta. I am leaving the odds at 1 out of 5 because as evidenced during BOTH FORT LAUDERDALE TRIPS, things change rather quickly during the Charlotte Kingdom trips themselves. As much as I would like to visit Charlotte & film a few of her best lifts, I'd rather save it as the emergency itinerary for if I cannot go to Los Angeles during my graduation trip during the summer of 2019 or 2020.
Alongside that, if we are to end up going to Atlanta & the verdict post on July 1st says YES WE ARE GOING & we are going in July, with a zero percent chance of not going, then, I will give you details in mini blog posts about the hotel, the drive, the other possible cities we will most likely be visiting & what possible lifts I could be filming when I hear of updates of them

Weekly verdict

The ideas for Fort Lauderdale & Miami are out of the bucket list. This means I will put Fort Lauderdale & Miami on the list of cities to consider researching for my high school grad trip. Pittsburgh, Hartford & New Haven will count as emergency backup itineraries for if Atlanta's July 1st verdict is bad.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
