Updated COVID Guidelines & Standards for the continuation of lift filming throughout the pandemic

Advanced Coronavirus Guidelines for Lift Filming As you may or may not have known, the Skyscraper Simulator (Beno Edition) has been shut down for the foreseeable future, voiding my plans to film lifts virtually during the dark parts of the Coronavirus. For this reason, virtual lift filming is impractical & I have developed new channel guidelines for cooperating with the pandemic as follows: Special Occasions It is a standard that I film lifts on a day of or leading up to that of a special occasion. For this reason, I have 5 lift filming dates scheduled for the foreseeable future that will be in effect regardless of how bad the Coronavirus gets provided that malls & office buildings are still open as follows: December 17. 2020 (in preparation for my reinduction into the lift filming community as a senior lift filmer - 5 year anniversary): Mall at Short Hills - Schindler 3300 followed by Macy’s followed by 1980’s Westinghouse hydros followed by 1995 Schindler 300A hydr...

Top 5 Best Lifts at Kean University (Locations UNDISCLOSED)

Top 5 Best Lifts at Kean University I showcase to you the top 5 best lifts at Kean University. 4 & 5. Old Cesco & Arrow Lifts Both of these lifts are okay lifts & there isn’t really much character or personality to them, but these are the worst lifts you can find at Kean University. Location of specific lifts within the university will not be disclosed for privacy reasons. These are generic hydros with GAL fixtures installed by Cesco and Arrow, respectively. The one on the left was installed in the 60s by a generic lift company but then later modernised in the mid-2000’s by Cesco. The one on the right was installed in the early 90s by Arrow, then got slightly modernised in the mid 2000’s just like the Cesco. Both travel at a speed of 0.5 meters per second & they both rank at 2.5 stars on General Chicago’s 6-point Lift Character Report. 3. High Speed Generic This lift is one of my personal favorites due to the way it runs. However, it looks like a basic standard ...
