Top 5 Best Lifts at Kean University (Locations UNDISCLOSED)

Top 5 Best Lifts at Kean University I showcase to you the top 5 best lifts at Kean University. 4 & 5. Old Cesco & Arrow Lifts Both of these lifts are okay lifts & there isn’t really much character or personality to them, but these are the worst lifts you can find at Kean University. Location of specific lifts within the university will not be disclosed for privacy reasons. These are generic hydros with GAL fixtures installed by Cesco and Arrow, respectively. The one on the left was installed in the 60s by a generic lift company but then later modernised in the mid-2000’s by Cesco. The one on the right was installed in the early 90s by Arrow, then got slightly modernised in the mid 2000’s just like the Cesco. Both travel at a speed of 0.5 meters per second & they both rank at 2.5 stars on General Chicago’s 6-point Lift Character Report. 3. High Speed Generic This lift is one of my personal favorites due to the way it runs. However, it looks like a basic standard ...

LIFT FILMING PLANS FOR 12/17

Coronavirus Pandemic Standards With the exception of the fifth anniversary lift filming plans, the standard for lift filming is as follows: U.S. daily coronavirus cases must not exceed 55,000 for the 4 consecutive days before the planned in-person lift filming day & none of the four up to the planned lift filming day can have a 6% increase or more in daily cases from the day before. New Jersey daily coronavirus cases must not exceed 1,000 cases for the 4 consecutive days before the planned in-person lift filming day & none of the four up to the planned lift filming day can have a 10% increase or more in daily cases from the day before. If both requirements are met on each of the four days before a planned in-person lift filming day, the in-person lift filming plans will exist. If during any of the four days before a planned lift filming event are the requirements unmet, I will have a virtual alternative in place. This will be my new rule for the remainder of the pandemic until ...

LIFT CHARACTER REPORT: HENNINGS HALL

APPEARANCE This lift has basic standard 90s EPCO CircleLine fixtures (⅗), a ⅖ okay cab & a basic standard configuration with a standard sized cab & the basic standard center opening single speed doors. It has a very nice EPCO indicator instead of the traditional ACME indicator. It looks okay (2.50 stars) overall. RUN CHARACTER This lift has basic standard run features, an okay motor & okay controller (MCE). It runs okay in general (2.11 stars). FINAL REPORT This is an okay lift overall. It’s not necessarily the most boring lift but it’s by no means interested. It’s a standard generic that you’d find in any NJ building that decided to go with EPCO instead of GAL. 2.1 stars total for this lift. The 6-point report was used to critique this lift. PHOTO

About General Chicago's 6-Point Lift Character Report

What is General Chicago’s 6-point lift character report? The General Chicago’s 6-point lift character report is a comprehensive 6-point report which measures the character of the lift from 6 different areas. The report is broken down into 2 categories with 3 subcategories each: appearance, and run character.  The report assigns a score of 5 stars from data input to each of the questions and then weighs the different categories automatically based on how much each subcategory contributes to the total score. This tool is easy to deploy and requires simple mathematical calculations which are easily doable by mental math, which prove good for YouTube comments that need to be delivered on rapid fire. How is it designed? It is designed using five-point scales for each question, with the option of writing descriptions under each category for how the lift appears and runs. Each question has a 6-point scale, but each weighs differently towards the total score. There is also an option to sav...
