Plans for my YouTube Channel during May-June 2019

In History class, a giant movie project for the end of the year has been announced to the curriculum for my advanced Modern American History class. While I am not particularly excited for this project, I am certainly going to make it my full priority to get the highest grade on that project. Therefore, because of this, I may have to leave YouTube for a month & a half in order to concentrate on grades, schoolwork & other graduation requirements. Please note that this is still 7 months away & I still have more than enough time to plan out my time away from YouTube during May 2019. Here are my current plans:

  • May 1st: Make a formal announcement stating I will be leaving YouTube until 6.15.2019 (This does not mean I won’t be filming lifts, though).
  • May 8: Put lift filming career on hold in order to focus fully on any & all final projects
  • May 15: Begin studying for final exams in classes where I do not have A-marks for the entire year (I will devote extra time to the classes where my grades are lower, although I will be working hard all year long to make sure my grades are as high as I could maintain).
  • May 31: Continue studying VERY HARD & monitoring progress on graduation requirements. By this point, I will have limited my lift filming career to social media updates on Google+ & only be on Google+ for up to an hour per week at maximum
  • June 12: Start preparing formal re-entry video with graduation trip announcements (I MAY BE DRIVING SOLO BY THIS POINT SO I WILL HAVE MORE OPTIONS AVAILABLE)
  • June 15: (By then I should be getting my final report card & already have my diploma, or alternative plans to go to summer school or retake school if I do not get my diploma, but even then I will be working extremely hard to make sure my chances of getting my diploma are high enough not to worry about not getting the diploma) Formal re-entrance to YouTube with new video & new website revamp. I can change my name by this day.

Please note that during the time I am off from YouTube & other services I use online as part of my lift filming career, I will be working HARDER THAN I HAVE IN MY OTHER 3 YEARS OF HIGH SCHOOL in order to ensure a successful journey to graduation. In the event that I can’t graduate in 2019, more options are opened for my 2020 graduation ceremony, including a higher likelihood of going to CHARLOTTE for my graduation trip instead of staying locally in the NJ townships.

I’m signing off now & will be back at 2:15 PM for lift filming plans for Columbus Day weekend & other lift filming plans for the NJEA convention weekend. I could be going to Jersey City, but I could care less about going to JC until I can drive there on my own.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...

Paramus Lift Galore: June 2022

Written on behalf of the Rising Salamander Academy Lift Galore Date: June 17 Lift Galore Time: 5:00 PM EST It's been a long time since I've last filmed lifts in person, a whole whopping half a year to be exact. I'm excited to be back, but not for long, since I have to finish up my time at Kean University & focus on graduating on time. But for the mean time, let's enjoy our summer recess, film the best lifts we can film & make the most of it! Westinghouse Lift Where: Macy's, Garden State Plaza Time Filmed: 10:10 AM (June 10) Grade: B+ Speed to Height Ratio: 8.1:1 (Fast) Landings Served: 3 The first lift of this lift galore is a 1950's Westinghouse lift which was later modernised by a generic company between the 1980's & early 2000's with EPCO Flushline fixtures on the outside, EPCO Circleline fixtures on the inside. This lift has a speed to height ratio of 8.1:1 which makes it fast for the application & number of landings. This lift is loc...
