Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

Hartford’s likelihood of happening

I will be back at 5:15 PM tonight, to briefly discuss Hartford’s likelihood of happening over Columbus day weekend. I am not terribly excited to go to Hartford anyway, so I could care less if we end up not going. HELLO FRIRNDS! While I don’t really care much if Hartford happens on Columbus Day weekend anyway , I am still going to give you Friday-evening update posts about the possible Hartford trip nightly at 5:15 PM. I may post Google+ updates during the week on the fly on “Rising Hornrt” community.  Regarding verdict day,  the verdict day will be on 10.5.2018, at 5:15 PM. On verdict day, it will include an  actual verdict  (We’re going/not going). If we  are going to Hartford (I won’t be that excited anyway, after what happened in Atlantic City this past month), I will provide you with as many  concrete details as I could possibly. If we are not going to Hartford on October 6-8, I have other plans to film lifts in Clinton Township on October 6 or 13...

Back to School Journal Post: December 2018 Forecast & HS graduation trip discussion

Hartford & Scranton There has been talk of a possible trip to Scranton, or Hartford, this upcoming December. While I am definitely not as excited as I was last year to go to Hartford or Scranton (refer to the drama from Atlantic City summer 2018 for reasons why), I am still going to be giving you Friday Evening updates about the possible plans for December 2018. I still have no problem staying inside of Clinton Township for December 2018. I have ZERO lift filming plans in Hartford OR SCRANTON during December 2018. If I am able to film a lift, I will have to film that lift ON MY OWN , for an uninterrupted video. Atlantic City Regarding the Atlantic City lift galore for August 2018, I have decided to cancel full lift galore production & instead make individual “Magical Lift” videos for every set of lifts that I was able to film in Atlantic City this August. As a matter of fact, I will use the lift footage I got in Atlantic City as food for my future intro & outro vide...

School is back in session! What to expect for the rest of 2018

The school year has officially begun an hour and 5 minutes ago . It’s going to be a very long and exciting (hopefully so) school year. Graduation day is in 9 months and 3 weeks from today. While there may be a slight chance I may not be able to graduate in 42 weeks from today, I will be working harder than I ever could have imagined in my past 3 years of high school to maximize the chances of me graduating and getting my diploma this upcoming June 2019! Here is what you NEED TO KNOW about my lift filming itinerary for the next 3 months & further : I have canceled my prior autumn plans to film lifts in Elizabeth, Secaucus & every other city besides Clinton, Bridgewater & Lebanon Townships until I can physically drive to those places on my own, unless my PARENTS planned the trip to one of those cities, in that case, I may not film any lifts during any of those trips. I MAY be going to Scranton in December 2018, but that doesn’t mean I’m going there for lift filming! I wil...

The future of my lift filming career

For now, I am temporarily putting my career of lift filming on hold , after the fiasco that happened during this past Atlantic City trip, and a few other major trips to Fort Lauderdale, Atlantic City, and “Hartford” in the past. This past trip to Atlantic City determined the fate of my lift filming career for now. While I am very happy with the footage I got in Atlantic City (I was only expecting to get one film of ONE OF THE HIGH RISE SETS OF LIFTS ANYWAY), there were other aspects I would prefer not to talk about (as such happened in the February 2017 Fort Lauderdale/Miami trip which almost made the 6 story Dover HIGHdraulic lifts a part of my history ), which is making me want to STOP filming lifts for now. When will I start filming lifts outside of Clinton/Lebanon Township again? As of right now, I have canceled MOST future plans to film lifts ANYWHERE out of Clinton, Lebanon & MAYBE Bridgewater Township, from now until I can either start driving or until 2.15.2020 . So far,...

ATLANTIC CITY DID NOT GO WELL, AND THE FATE OF MY LIFT FILMING CAREER

I hate saying that a trip to a CCRS-high ranking city did not go well, but this is unfortunately one of many times that I am forced to give you guys the very bad news. Of course I am BEYOND satisfied with lift videos I got in Atlantic City (I was expecting NO VIDEOS), due to the drama associated with staying nights in a CCRS-ranking city, I am unfortunate enough to say that I was not pleased with how the majority of the trip went. Because I have been barred from opening up about how I’m doing way too many times prior, I have decided to open up to a community who would be more understanding . Effects of this Atlantic City trip Because of how horridly this trip went, besides filming lifts, which I am obviously happy with , I have decided to ELIMINATE any risks of another horrid CCRS trip by CANCELLING all future plans to film lifts BEYOND LEBANON BOROUGH NJ (Outskirts of Clinton Township, borderline Bridgewater/Somerset Township), until ONE OF THE FOLLOWING HAPPENS: I can drive ou...

New NJ and VA additions to the CCRS

After watching very closely videos of lifts in Virginia and other cities, towns, and townships within the general vicinity of Secaucus and Elizabeth, I have decided to officially include the additions shown below. I have tried a new approach to adding cities to the Charlotte-Carolina Ranking System. I simply need to look at several video THUMBNAILS of lifts within that city, town, township, county, state, or region & predict their LCR (Lift Criticism Rating) based on the lifts in the thumbnails. If my predictions turn up 6 or higher, I then combine the predicted LCR’s, and then find the average LCR in order to give each city, town, township, county, region, or state their most appropriate new ranking. I only watch videos of the lifts if I am unsure of how a lift can run until I can watch a preview video of it. Virginia Roanoke, VA (41) Richmond, VA (42) Virginia Beach, VA (43) New Jersey East Rutherford (6) Edison (7) Lyndhurst (8) Woodbridge Township (9) Millburn Tow...

What I am bringing with me to Atlantic City

During my trip to Atlantic City, I am going to be bringing with me a few materials & in this journal post, I am going to go into further description of what I will be using the items for: Pre-2010  Sony Handycam (used as a  second camera for filming lifts) Surface Pro 4 (STILL A MAYBE, I might just bring my iPad) Samsung Galaxy S8 (used for speed readings, media updates & other lift videos I take in other buildings besides Tropicana) iPad (used for blogging and Google+,  can still be accomplished using the Android ) ALL portable chargers, as I will need as many as I could to last me through the day when I am NOT in my hotel room, ESPECIALLY filming lifts, which I hope to be doing a LOT of I am still on the fence about bringing my Surface Pro 4 with me to Atlantic City, as that is the only PC I currently have right now that is in  proper, working condition. I am upgrading other laptops I have to  Linux , so I could use them as  spare PCs ...
