ATLANTIC CITY DID NOT GO WELL, AND THE FATE OF MY LIFT FILMING CAREER

I hate saying that a trip to a CCRS-high ranking city did not go well, but this is unfortunately one of many times that I am forced to give you guys the very bad news. Of course I am BEYOND satisfied with lift videos I got in Atlantic City (I was expecting NO VIDEOS), due to the drama associated with staying nights in a CCRS-ranking city, I am unfortunate enough to say that I was not pleased with how the majority of the trip went. Because I have been barred from opening up about how I’m doing way too many times prior, I have decided to open up to a community who would be more understanding.

Effects of this Atlantic City trip

Because of how horridly this trip went, besides filming lifts, which I am obviously happy with, I have decided to ELIMINATE any risks of another horrid CCRS trip by CANCELLING all future plans to film lifts BEYOND LEBANON BOROUGH NJ (Outskirts of Clinton Township, borderline Bridgewater/Somerset Township), until ONE OF THE FOLLOWING HAPPENS:

  • I can drive out of state on my own
  • Further notice

In order for me to actually ENJOY a trip throughout CCRS, I am going to have to go ALONE, or with one of my FRIRNDS. Other than that, I am not even motivated in any way to go to any city, NOT EVEN FLEMINGTON BOROUGH!

I have also canceled the graduation trip research project altogether, and I am holding it off for college graduation. Additionally, I have canceled the following planned trips (either until the date posted or until I can start driving OUT OF STATE on my own), which I have planned to film lifts:

  • Hartford, 12.22-24.2018
  • ALL PLANNED TRIPS TO ELIZABETH BETWEEN NOW AND FEBRUARY 2020
  • ALL PLANNED TRIPS TO SECAUCUS BETWEEN NOW AND FEBRUARY 2020
  • ALL PLANNED TRIPS TO FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP AND MORRISTOWN BETWEEN NOW AND FEBRUARY 2020
  • Atlantic City, 2.8-10.2019
  • Pittsburgh, SPRING WEEK 2019
  • GRADUATION TRIP: Charlotte, 7.11-14.2019
  • ALL PLANNED TRIPS TO MORRISTOWN BETWEEN NOW AND FEBRUARY 2020
  • ALL PLANNED TRIPS OUT OF CLINTON TOWNSHIP BETWEEN NOW AND FEBRUARY 2020

However, when I get the opportunity to ride/film a lift OUTSIDE OF CLINTON TOWNSHIP (EXCEPT MANHATTAN BORO NYC), I MAY film that lift! If I can drive there on my own, I WILL film that lift! I am also not going to film lifts at any other buildings but hotels I’m staying at in the event that my family DID plan a trip to any city, town or township on CCRS, unless I can physically/legally DRIVE to that city, town or township without getting any run-ins with the law.

As a matter of fact, as of September 1st, I will have canceled ALL FUTURE TRIPS out of Clinton Township until I am able to drive OUT OF STATE. This means I will not even go film lifts in FLEMINGTON, until I am legally able to drive there on my own to film lifts.

As for the future of my lift career, this trip, the past Atlantic City trip, and the majority of other trips to a CCRS city, town, or township, ESPECIALLY this past Atlantic City trip, is causing me to temporarily put my lift filming career on hold, until I can get there independently by means of driving.

As for Elizabeth, the only times I’m going to film lifts in Elizabeth is when I get an opportunity to do so, until I can legally drive there on my own. I am going to film lifts in Elizabeth mainly if there’s a family plan to go to IKEA, or the plan happens to be in a building that has unrestricted lift(s) to film. I do not even care what kind of lift I film from now on, ESPECIALLY two-story lifts. In fact, I’m happier filming two-story lifts than I am filming thirty-story lifts.

On one final note, I would like to inform you that this is in no way your fault, it’s just that after the horror story of my last Fort Lauderdale trip, I am beginning to lose enjoyment, excitement & motivation when I go on family trips to a CCRS city. To fully enjoy them, I am going to have to drive to those cities on my own. Until then, I am perfectly fine being restricted to Clinton Township, Annandale Borough & Lebanon Borough. I do not think I want to return to Atlantic City until I can go on my own either. Be prepared for another verdict blog post about the future of my lift filming career going up later tonight. I am not leaving YouTube, but I will not film many lifts beyond 5 floors tall until I can PHYSICALLY DRIVE ON SOLID PAVEMENT, LEGALLY!

I’m signing off now.

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

LIFT FILMING AGENDA UPDATE 1.25.2019 & WILL CHICAGO BE CROWNED THE NEW KING?

Chicago holds a high possibility of being crowned first place . What if I told you that Chicago has some rare and exotic lifts that you probably won’t find in many other places in the U.S.? That is an existence a lift filmer will be delighted with when they go to the city of Chicago. My four figures of reference were: WI Sirens and Elevators Elevators of Lake County CHI Elevators Windy City Elevators Because I have found so many outstanding Montgomery, Dover, SchindlerHaughton, Westinghouse and KONE lifts throughout the city of Chicago, it wouldn’t be sensible for me to write it all under one big blog post, because it would be a big waste of time for me to go into big, elaborate detail on what made each lift stand out. What I found on YouTube in terms of Chicago lifts Mitsubishi and Fujitec These lift filmers have walked around the city of Chicago filming some super nice lifts, and in the process of watching YouTube videos over the past few months, I have found that Ch...

QUICK RUNDOWN OF THE NORMAL BEHAVIOR OF A 700A

Tallest 700A’s I have been on Arguably, at 20 stories, these have been the tallest Schindler 700A’s I have EVER been on, and the first I’ve been on in a hotel. However, I have noticed some interesting characteristics of the Schindler 700A in mid to high rise applications. Epic lifts indeed To start off, these lifts had absolutely incredible acceleration, deceleration and leveling. They take off like rockets and travel at a mindblowing speed of 120 meters per minute, despite serving a travel distance of 55-60 meters. The deceleration is similar to the Schindler 700A’s at the Nordstrom store at the Mall at Short Hills, as it smoothly phases into its full deceleration mode. In terms of character, these lifts do tend to make a little bit of noise and shake on the way up and down the tower. Car 3 makes a very loud screeching noise as it accelerates towards level 17 going down, which I find to make the ride even more fun. These lifts were installed in 1993, which gives them even more 199...
