Back to School Journal Post: December 2018 Forecast & HS graduation trip discussion

Hartford & Scranton

There has been talk of a possible trip to Scranton, or Hartford, this upcoming December. While I am definitely not as excited as I was last year to go to Hartford or Scranton (refer to the drama from Atlantic City summer 2018 for reasons why), I am still going to be giving you Friday Evening updates about the possible plans for December 2018. I still have no problem staying inside of Clinton Township for December 2018.

I have ZERO lift filming plans in Hartford OR SCRANTON during December 2018. If I am able to film a lift, I will have to film that lift ON MY OWN, for an uninterrupted video.

Atlantic City

Regarding the Atlantic City lift galore for August 2018, I have decided to cancel full lift galore production & instead make individual “Magical Lift” videos for every set of lifts that I was able to film in Atlantic City this August. As a matter of fact, I will use the lift footage I got in Atlantic City as food for my future intro & outro videos. I still have no plans to film ANY MORE lifts in Atlantic City anytime soon, until I can PHYSICALLY & LEGALLY get from NYC to LA on my own. I am not excited for any trip outside of Clinton Township if it was NOT my planning, ANYWHERE in CCRS. I have therefore greatly minimised my lift filming career. Polished lift videos from Atlantic City will be going up at any time between now and 12.22.2018.

High School Graduation Trip

While it is possible that I may not be graduating from high school on 6.13.2019, I will still be working very hard in order to raise my chances of graduating on 6.13.2019. Worst case scenario, I may NOT be able to graduate on 6.13.2019 & instead graduate on 6.11.2020, which will then resort to a best case scenario because that means I may be able to DRIVE to my graduation trip on my own! I expect to film TWO SETS of lifts AT MINIMUM on my high school graduation trip! However, if I DO GRADUATE on 6.13.2019, then these are the following options (ones with asterisks automatically are taken off consideration list if there are extenuating circumstances which take place during any NON SELF-PLANNED trip to any other CCRS city between now & graduation day), all on either 6.13 OR 15.2019:

  • Secaucus*
  • East Rutherford*
  • Edison
  • Lyndhurst*
  • Woodbridge*
  • Millburn*
  • Elizabeth*
  • Freehold*
  • Morristown
  • Bridgewater
  • Clinton (WORST CASE SCENARIO)

Morristown, Bridgewater & Edison Townships will automatically be put on my “Rethink” list if our proposed December “Charolina” trip involves the same thing that happened in Atlantic City. I will then have no problem staying locally in Clinton & changing my plans to film lifts right after the graduation ceremony ends. My original plan was to spend 4 days in July in downtown Charlotte for my graduation trip & bring one or two frirnds, but Atlantic City taught me a lesson! I have now postponed the summer 2019 Charlotte trip for my college graduation trip, which will start being discussed during the beginning of my FINAL YEAR OF COLLEGE.

I will be back tomorrow at 8:45 AM to announce final additions to CCRS as of September 1st & then discuss Elizabeth’s future placement on CCRS which are planned for October 27 at 8:45 AM or October 26 at 5:15 PM. As of right now, you are not going to know when are my next plans for filming lifts. I will not have any future plans to film lifts as of right now, unless I make plans to film a lift in Clinton Township.

I am signing off now.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
