Freehold TWP may end up on the Charlotte Kingdom & Charlotte Kingdom WILL GET A NEW NAME

CCRS: Charlotte Carolinas Ranking System

After gaining information through videos & verbal descriptions by a lift enthusiast based in central NJ who knows a lot about the lifts in Freehold TWP from past experience, I have been raving about its positive potential to the Charlotte Kingdom if it were to be added. But what could be missing from Freehold keeping its explicit spot empty?

It theoretically cannot be that far behind #33 Ranking on CCRS

Based on the description of Freehold given by the lift filmer Elevating Central NJ by Garden State Elevators, I have started gaining good feelings for Freehold & have even had the opportunity to pay attention by watching some VIDEOS of basic lifts in Freehold TWP. Based on information I have received from Elevating Central NJ by Garden State Elevators, I have been able to conclude that the basic lifts include:

  • 1980s/90s/2000s OTIS Series 1 (mostly hydraulic), once again basic lifts you can see in higher ranking cities on CCRS
  • Haughtons from the 60s/70s/80s, some traction, some hydraulic, once again some of the better lifts you can see in higher ranking cities on CCRS
  • Westinghouse from the 70s/80s, most hydraulic
  • Many Dover lifts
  • OTIS Vanity
  • Schindler MT/RT/300A/330A, once again basic lifts you can see in higher ranking cities on CCRS
  • Given the true information I have received from Elevating Central NJ by Garden State Elevators, I can now conclude that Freehold Township will hold an empty 34 placement on CCRS until I have the opportunity to film lifts IN PERSON throughout Freehold Township. When I am finished filming a good handful of lifts in Freehold Township, I will then take the time to compare Freehold to every other city ranking BELOW CHICAGO on the CCRS to determine its definite ranking.
Furthermore, as of December 2018, I will slowly drop the Charlotte Kingdom name & replace it with Charlotte Carolina Ranking System (CCRS) & I will exponentially broaden the amount of cities there is to film good lifts. Using the knowledge that a state is popular by number of good cities there is to film lifts, it can safely be assumed that every city will have a slightly lower ranking from the top within that state alone! Therefore, any city within North Carolina with the exception of Charlotte & Asheville will have a 1+ ranking, since North Carolina is ranked as 1S (the S meaning state) on CCRS, while a town or a township will have a 1- ranking. Any city within New Jersey with the exception of Atlantic City, Secaucus, Elizabeth, Freehold TWP*, Morristown*, Bridgewater / Raritan TWP* and Clinton TWP/Flemington TWP* will have a 2+ ranking, while a town or township will have a 2- ranking. The same applies for the other 5 states on CCRS in this order:
  • North Carolina (1S)
  • New Jersey (2S)
  • California (3S)
  • Florida (4S)
  • Texas (5S)
  • Connecticut (6S)
    • A star next to the name of the city, town or township or its proposed placement number on CCRS means it has the potential of being a placement BELOW the lowest ranking of a city within its specific state on CCRS. For example, if Freehold has a placement at 34 in New Jersey & Morristown has a star right next to Freehold, then once lifts are filmed, Freehold will be placed at 35 on CCRS.
    • If New York City was in a different state, or there was a more diverse variety within the lifts (not by appearance, but by machinery & controls, even 10 METAL BOXES IN A ROW WILL MAKE ME HAPPY), then New York would hold the potential of holding a ranking of 7S on Charlotte Carolina Ranking System.
Any BUILDING within CCRS that has even ONE LIFT with EPCO SSL buttons is automatically excluded from CCRS & will count as one of the worst lifts in its city, town or township. Because of the new ranking system, I now live and attend school DIRECTLY INSIDE the CCRS!

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
