The ranking system is getting a new name, and Charlotte has been dethroned The “former” Charlotte Carolina Ranking System received a new name over the past couple of months. It is now called the Chattanooga Tennessee Ranking System . In addition, the city of Charlotte has been dropped down to fifth place on the ranking system, with New Jersey being the third state instead of the second. April 2019 will, indeed, be a busy, academic & exciting month that I cannot wait to encounter. Regarding plans for filming lifts throughout Christmas week 2018, plans for filming lifts in Secaucus have been discussed for the morning of December 22 . These plans were made ONLY BECAUSE December 26 is around the corner & I want to get some fresh lift footage from Secaucus in time for my three-year anniversary of lift filming. Had December 26 not been my anniversary, I would not have made plans to go lift filming on December 22. If I go to Secaucus on December 22, then these are the hotels I hope to film lifts at: Residence Inn by Marriott Secaucus Meadowlands Holiday Inn Secaucus Meadowlands Empire Meadowlands Hotel Hyatt Place Secaucus Meadowlands Hampton Inn Secaucus Meadowlands Possibly the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel Comparison to A.C. In December 2018, I do not have much of any plans to film lifts outside of Clinton/Bridgewater Townships. However, because December 26 will be my 3 year anniversary since I started filming lifts, I will choose to film a lift  locally in Clinton Township.  As for December 15, I was originally supposed to go to  Secaucus AND Elizabeth. I am still fishy on going to these two cities/towns after what went down in Atlantic City this past August, but I will be more motivated to go to Secaucus & / or Elizabeth  specifically for my 3-year anniversary . I will go only to film a COUPLE LIFTS to premiere on December 26. Plus, I have my driving permit, so I will more than likely be driving. If I go to Secaucus, I definitely want to film the Embassy Suites lifts & the Residence Inn which has OTIS Gen2 lifts  at least . In terms of lift filming, I do not have much of anything planned for the week of November 4 through 10. In fact, I have ZERO pre-made plans to film lifts at any point between now & December 15 ANYWHERE outside of a 2-mile margin of Route 31 or I-78 in Clinton Township . However, here are some possible things that may happen over NJ Teacher’s Convention weekend: Possible lift filming in Wayne Township, NJ if I visit William Paterson University for the instant decision event Possible lift filming in Jersey City, NJ on Saturday or Sunday (inside the Secaucus/Hartford Band) Possible lift filming in NYC (Left to be determined) The moral of the story is, November 8 through 11 are my only possible lift filming days for the beginning of November. As of right now, we are supposed to be going to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, but at this point, due to lack of discussion about going to LA, I have reasonable cause to believe that we are fortunately not going to Los Angeles this Thanksgiving. Of course, I am NOT excited at ALL to go to Los Angeles after how AC went down back in August 2018. However, if we do end up going to Los Angeles during Thanksgiving weekend, I will continuously monitor the quality of the trip, from the second we are still preparing for the trip while still in Clinton Township , to the time the final day is over & we step foot back home in Clinton Township . If this proposed trip goes better than the July 2017 trip to Atlantic City (which was the best trip within the CRS [Carolina Ranking System]), then I may consider putting Atlantic City or Hartford back on the consideration list for my birthday in February 2019. In History class, a giant movie project for the end of the year has been announced to the curriculum for my advanced Modern American History class. While I am not particularly excited for this project, I am certainly going to make it my full priority to get the highest grade on that project. Therefore, because of this, I may have to leave YouTube for a month & a half in order to concentrate on grades, schoolwork & other graduation requirements. Please note that this is still 7 months away & I still have more than enough time to plan out my time away from YouTube during May 2019. Here are my current plans: May 1st: Make a formal announcement stating I will be leaving YouTube until 6.15.2019 (This does not mean I won’t be filming lifts, though). Over Columbus Day weekend, I have pre-made some PRETTY SIGNIFICANT changes, additions, revisions & improvements to the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System, including adding new cities, new areas & new bands to make trip planning a lot easier. New rules All cities where the name is partially or fully in the area/band on the interactive map are  automatically considered a RANKED CITY   on the CCRS & will hold the SAME RANKING as the name of the highest directly ranked city on the band’s NAME. However, this doesn’t apply to RMT bands, connector bands, or area joints. For example, as of October 27,  LANCASTER will be in the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh band. Because Pittsburgh is the name of the highest ranked city on the band’s name, Lancaster & all other cities, towns & townships which have their displayed name fall partially or fully in the band will hold the same placement as PITTSBURGH does! YAIAO FOLKS! This time I am writing to inform y’all about a possible short lift filming itinerary that may possibly take place this weekend in Monmouth County , a to-be new addition to the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System as of October 27. WLB Borough That’s right, I will be going to the WLB Borough on October 7 for a college tour at Monmouth University. Depending on how interested I am or how willing I am to ride the lifts, I may attempt to take a picture of one or two of 1 of the lifts & share it on Google+ (Atlantic City left a bitter taste in my desire to film lifts outside of Clinton Township on non-solo trips anyway). Throughout the course of 2018, I have been able to expand the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System to over 35 TIMES its original coverage! And I still have a trough more to add from October to December 2018. History of the CCRS 2017 To think that just 9 months ago, this was the  entire size of the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System. It was THAT SMALL! And it wasn’t even called the CCRS. It was called the  Charlotte Kingdom!   To be fair, the list of cities with great lifts was born on  5.30.2017 , almost 7 months BEFORE! Charlotte was the  very first city to make it on the CCRS, due to the  sheer variety of modernly  unique lifts found throughout the city, by appearance & run character. As you all know, 2018 wasn’t AS GREAT for lift filming as I was hoping for. However, I have made many important additions to the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System over the past 9 months since January 2018, including adding many New Jersey towns, cities & townships (Elizabeth Area, Freehold Township, Bridgewater Township & Clinton Township Area). Reflection During the winter of 2018, I managed to film THREE LIFTS in Elizabeth (now the Elizabeth Area), my first lift in Bridgewater Township, managed to film almost EVERY passenger lift in the Borgata & Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City & even film a 1960s OTIS in the Elizabeth Area! Of course, I was extremely impressed with the lifts I have ridden & filmed in Elizabeth during the winter of 2018. As for the spring of 2018, I wasn’t that heavy on lift filming like I was hoping for. For the next quarter of 2018, I now have no specific plans to film any more lifts outside of Hunterdon County. My most recent trip to Scranton PA left a bitter taste in my mouth (A similar thing that happened in Atlantic City happened in Scranton). To REDUCE RISK of future bad spells from future CCRS trips when I’m NOT going there by myself, I am restricting my boundaries strictly to Hunterdon County . This goes with saying that I am PERFECTLY happy staying inside of Hunterdon County, as Hunterdon County still has a small selection of good lifts in their low rising buildings. This video shows proof that there in fact, is a Schindler 5500 in the city of Washington DC. Because there is a Schindler 5500 with already the enormous amount of other Schindler lifts throughout the city of Washington DC, DC will now have a solid ranking on the CCRS. In fact, other cities, towns & townships in Arlington County will now be considered on the CCRS for their high volume of unique Schindler , KONE & OTIS lifts. ThyssenKrupp tractions will be ignored. Charlotte now has a SEMI-PERMANENT (still open for kickdowns to 2nd place) ranking on the CCRS. This means that if Charlotte were to be kicked down to second place by another city that has the potential to be higher-ranking than Charlotte (one example is Atlantic City), then in the example, the Charlotte Carolina Ranking System would become the Atlantic Jersey Ranking System instead. Hi frirnds, Washington D.C. I am very excited to officially open a NEW empty spot for Washington D.C. Over the past several months, I have seen a lot of different lift videos from Washington DC (of course, paying attention to EVERY INCH OF DETAIL PER VIDEO) & I will have to say, I was blown away with what I was seeing! There are quite a handful of Montgomery lifts, OTIS Gen2, Westinghouse lifts, Dover relay logic lifts Schindler 6400 & 400A, a few KONE lifts & there are even Schindler glass lifts! Of course, I saw a few ThyssenKrupp lifts & clicked on a different lift video each time I saw a ThyssenKrupp lift video. Here is what I got: I predict Washington DC’s average lift criticism rating at a solid 9/15, which is the same average rating as I gave both Freehold & Clinton Township. Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...
