UPDATE: Atlanta/Fort Lauderdale/Atlantic City 6.24.18

Expectations are DIFFERENT

Speaking of Atlanta, we might as well definitely not be going, but let's not have our hopes up until July 1 for the verdict. I have not created any more PB trends since early March, but from the past Fort Lauderdale & supposed Los Angeles trip which was supposed to happen back in December 2017, but failed miserably, both you and I can expect a 1 / 12800 chance of going to Atlanta this summer as of this moment.
Both you and I can expect a 1 / 12800 chance of going to Atlanta this summer as of this moment.
Additionally, on June 24, I am going to completely revamp the guidelines for my graduation trip research project & give you a list of ways on how to prepare yourself for the final verdict. The verdict post will be up in 2 Sundays from today, at 5:15 PM. For the blog post:
  • Expect to see an exceptionally bad, but unsurprising verdict for Atlanta. I will not really mind not going to Atlanta this summer anyway because I want to save the higher-ranking cities for after I successfully complete high school with a regular diploma. There is such a high chance that we're NOT GOING to Atlanta as of right now that I might as well post the verdict by today.
  • Expect a good Atlantic City verdict. As of right now, Atlantic City is still at a 66% likelihood & is not expected to go down at this point. In fact, expect that likelihood to soar an additional 16%.
    • An additional trip to Elizabeth will count as the substitute trip in case we do NOT go to Atlantic City this summer! In fact, I want to go at least ONCE MORE before September to get to other lifts that have not been filmed! No, I will not be going to the Courtyard/Residence Inns, I will be going to places that strictly HAVEN'T been filmed to be the first to discover what awesome 1980s/90s treasures Elizabeth could be hiding back.
    • There is a ZERO PERCENT CHANCE I will be going to Fort Lauderdale this summer or ANY CITY ranking higher than 25 on the Charlotte Kingdom!
  • The verdicts do not include any itineraries for lift filming. I will have no itinerary for you. Instead, I will find whatever I can find & film whatever lifts I can film that I will want to film. Some basic modern lift models I will definitely not restrain from filming are:
    • Anything from Otis, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp (even their traction models) or Kone
    • Anything with Innovation, MAD, GAL or PTL
    • Anything in New Jersey OR Connecticut that doesn't have EPCO SSL.
  • During my downtime from academics (July 1 to August 22), throughout the summer, expect mini blog posts if we get plans on going to Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, or Pittsburgh. I am going to make lift filming the second priority this summer, as well as studying for my precalculus class which I am going to begin starting in the fall to ensure a very good path to finals, although I will have already met the math requirement to graduate from high school.
  • If I go anywhere in New Jersey this summer & I am able to film a lift in the place I'm going to, I will TRY VERY HARD to film that lift unless it has an older variant of EPCO SSL or MML from before the 2000s. Even Monitor TR is good enough (if the lift is NOT standard traction).
    • I am EXPECTING to go to the hospital on July 12 for a doctor's appointment. If I am allowed to & parents say it is okay, I will ride the lift. If I am allowed to take pictures and record videos, I will film the lift.
  • Expect me to film some lifts ANYWHERE IN NEW JERSEY before I head down to Boston on July 1. I have already filmed two epic lifts in Elizabeth on 6.16.18, my return date to YT.
  • I have no plans to film ANY LIFTS until I go to Boston. Boston will not be a consideration for the Charlotte Kingdom until I have visited Boston several more times before the close of 2019. I will only put Boston on the Charlotte Kingdom if I liked more than 80% of the STANDARD public lifts that I was able to film.
At 8:45 AM on July 1, you could expect a blog post consisting of possible dates where I could be going to Secaucus, or Elizabeth:
  • July 7
  • July 14
  • July 21
  • July 28
  • August 4
  • August 11
  • August 18
On one, two or more of these Saturdays, I could be in either Atlantic City, Hartford, Stamford, Pittsburgh, New Haven, Secaucus, or Elizabeth. If I want to play it easy, I could stay in Hunterdon County & film some lifts in Clinton Township.

On August 25, I will get working on my research project & therefore not film TOO MANY LIFTS from August 25 until my next opportunity to film lifts, either by personal lift filming agenda or by family plans. However, I do have plans to finish filming whatever I couldn't film in Elizabeth over the summer BEFORE DECEMBER, so I could start exploring Freehold which already has an empty spot on the Charlotte Kingdom at spot #35, thanks to a fellow YouTube frirnd called Garden State Elevators.

The likelihood of us going to Atlanta is at 1 / 6400, while the likelihood of us going to Fort Lauderdale is now between 15 & 18%. There will be a 2018-only single unique likelihood for Atlantic City, set at 66%, which is likely to go up and down throughout the course of the next two weeks, therefore resulting in FOLLOW-UP update posts regarding Atlantic City. Nothing is definite as of yet. I can only hope for a slightly positive end to this confusion.

Expect automatic update posts on June 24 & of course, July 1.

More additions to the Charlotte Kingdom will be here in September 2018, December 2018, March 2019 & June 2019. By September 2019, I will hopefully be driving independently, which means I will be able to film even more lifts within the state of New Jersey. If I am allowed to drive out of state, expect me to film lifts in Charlotte a lot when I have week and month long breaks from university, if I have weeks worth of spare time from Academic or other college-related work. Given the colleges I have visited in New Jersey all have very diverse lifts, they are like Charlotte at fingertips, so I will hopefully be able to film lifts at the college I am enrolled in by 2019.

Additionally, do NOT expect me to go to Secaucus UNTIL I have finished filming enough lifts in Elizabeth to finalize its placement on the Charlotte Kingdom (I only really need to visit 5 or 6 more buildings since she doesn't have AS MANY places as Secaucus to film lifts). And even then will I still not visit Secaucus. Once I'm done with Elizabeth, I will put my eyes on Freehold, then Morristown. I will only make plans to film lifts in Secaucus within the last 3 months of high school

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

LIFT FILMING AGENDA UPDATE 1.25.2019 & WILL CHICAGO BE CROWNED THE NEW KING?

Chicago holds a high possibility of being crowned first place . What if I told you that Chicago has some rare and exotic lifts that you probably won’t find in many other places in the U.S.? That is an existence a lift filmer will be delighted with when they go to the city of Chicago. My four figures of reference were: WI Sirens and Elevators Elevators of Lake County CHI Elevators Windy City Elevators Because I have found so many outstanding Montgomery, Dover, SchindlerHaughton, Westinghouse and KONE lifts throughout the city of Chicago, it wouldn’t be sensible for me to write it all under one big blog post, because it would be a big waste of time for me to go into big, elaborate detail on what made each lift stand out. What I found on YouTube in terms of Chicago lifts Mitsubishi and Fujitec These lift filmers have walked around the city of Chicago filming some super nice lifts, and in the process of watching YouTube videos over the past few months, I have found that Ch...

QUICK RUNDOWN OF THE NORMAL BEHAVIOR OF A 700A

Tallest 700A’s I have been on Arguably, at 20 stories, these have been the tallest Schindler 700A’s I have EVER been on, and the first I’ve been on in a hotel. However, I have noticed some interesting characteristics of the Schindler 700A in mid to high rise applications. Epic lifts indeed To start off, these lifts had absolutely incredible acceleration, deceleration and leveling. They take off like rockets and travel at a mindblowing speed of 120 meters per minute, despite serving a travel distance of 55-60 meters. The deceleration is similar to the Schindler 700A’s at the Nordstrom store at the Mall at Short Hills, as it smoothly phases into its full deceleration mode. In terms of character, these lifts do tend to make a little bit of noise and shake on the way up and down the tower. Car 3 makes a very loud screeching noise as it accelerates towards level 17 going down, which I find to make the ride even more fun. These lifts were installed in 1993, which gives them even more 199...
