Secaucus MAY have a sister by tonight OR tomorrow

Secaucus may have a close sister

Tomorrow morning (or tonight if I get lucky), I hope to go to Elizabeth, NJ, to discover and film more hidden treasures that could be found. These hotels include the Renaissance hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, the Residence Inn hotel, and/or the Embassy Suites hotels. If I make it to at least TWO of the 4 hotels, then I will make sure to capture ALL characterful elements of the lifts on both my Android phone and/or my pre-2010 Sony Handycam, whichever I feel more comfortable filming with.

What to expect if I go to Elizabeth

  • It's not a matter of when, it is a matter of if. Currently it is somewhat likely for me to go to Elizabeth.
  • 2 to 4 round trips on lifts at each hotel, each round trip paying attention to different characterful elements in the lifts if I get the chance
  • ONLY IF I GO TO THE EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL: Solid proof that the EcoDisc runs better than the lift community portrays them to be (yes, despite the EcoDisc not having quick acceleration, its unique & unusually seamless ride experience makes up for it and I did notice that on the last EcoDisc I filmed back in March 2017 after I came out of the mental hospital)
  • Pictures of the lifts (I will be mainly taking pictures of buttons, door equipment, call buttons and car panels & indicators, ESPECIALLY the EcoDisc lifts)

What to expect after my proposed trip to Elizabeth IF I GO

  • A verdict blog post at 5:15 PM or 8:45 PM on the day that I do go
    • This blog post may describe in detail about each set of lifts I supposedly filmed
  • A compilation video on YouTube of every lift I filmed in Elizabeth EXCEPT NEWARK AIRPORT (yes, I will be uploading my cringe IKEA lift videos from back in January)
  • Strong comparisons between Secaucus and Elizabeth
  • Final verdict for Elizabeth's placement in the Charlotte Kingdom

What else to expect

I will be writing extra update blog posts throughout the week. These blog posts will be about plans for other trips to Elizabeth to film more lifts that I have missed. The reason why I only want to go at most 3 times this summer is that she has even less lifts to film than Secaucus does, giving her a ranking as a town on the Charlotte Kingdom (below Secaucus). For this reason, Newark will have the same placement as she does on the Charlotte Kingdom!

A blog post regarding the next update for Atlanta, Atlantic City & Fort Lauderdale will show up on June 24 at 8:45 AM. The verdict will show up on July 1st at 5:15 PM. The next update will show up tomorrow at 8:45 AM, hopefully, while I am enjoying the lifts in Elizabeth Town if I didn't go today. Expect a bad verdict for Atlanta. In fact, we're most likely not going to Atlanta at all! I am telling you my best prediction for the verdict way in advance so you're prepared when the actual verdict arrives.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
