What to expect in Boston

I am going to Boston on June 28, 2018 through July 2nd, 2018. Here are some general expectations to have:
  • Expect me NOT TO BE ON YOUTUBE AT ALL from June 29 to July 1st. This is because I will be busy focusing on the congressional convention hosted by the National Academy for future scientists and technologists & I cannot have any distractions. I will keep texting my frirnds to a minimum as well during the convention.
    • This means I CAN BE on YouTube at different times of the day on June 28 & July 2nd. And I will film the lift in my hotel at LEAST ONCE before or after the convention is over.
  • Expect me to film my first lift in Boston. It will be 4 stories tall, and it WILL be hydraulic. I know this for a fact because the hotel I'm staying at appears to have been built in the 1980s or 1990s, so I expect to find something nice, epic and vintage (possibly a Westinghouse or Schindler RT) while I'm staying at the hotel in Boston, not something dull and modern crap like a Schindler hydraulic from the 2010s. I will either use my Android or my Sony Handycam, whichever I feel more comfortable using. If the lift has been modernized, I will only film it once depending on how much I liked it on my first ride. If it hasn't been modernized, but the phone has been updated to be compliant with modern standards, then I will consider filming the lift as many times as my time allotment gives me to do.
  • Expect me to have a blog post ready by 2315 on July 2nd. This means that the second I get home, I am running to my PC "hornrt PC" and I am writing a thorough blog post as quickly as I possibly could about the lift(s) I was able to ride and / or film and / or take pictures of in Boston. The blog post will be ready either by 2315 PM on July 2nd, or by 1715 PM on July 3rd.
  • DO NOT expect Boston to have a placement on the Charlotte Kingdom until March 2019. I need a lot more time to think about what effect Boston will have on the Charlotte Kingdom. Worst Case Scenario, Boston will be the first actual city to fall below Secaucus's ranking at 32nd place. However, the worst lifts aren't too bad as most of them are DC-powered traction (DC is usually more epic than VF due to jolty pulsing), if not hydraulic and have Monitor HPS, which is tolerable in comparison to EPCO SSL "SSLOPPY".
  • Expect me to plan follow-up trips to Boston to open an empty placement on the Charlotte Kingdom. If Boston goes on the Charlotte Kingdom by March 1st, then that means the following will happen:
    • Atlantic City will move down to 32nd place.
    • Secaucus will move down to 33rd place.
    • Elizabeth will move down to 34th place.
    • IF Clinton Township DOES HAVE A PLACEMENT ON THE CHARLOTTE KINGDOM BY MARCH 2018, that means it will move down to 35th place.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

Found the source of the problems with my PC

I am proud to finally tell y’all that I believe I have found a definite source of the problems I have been experiencing with my Windows PC over the past few days. It was because of a faulty Windows 10 preview update which was affecting the Windows 10 Recovery Environment. Luckily, I have found a trustworthy program (free of malware) which I could use to debug errors in my PC at any time, minor or major. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s happened when I tried to fix windows PC’s in the past. I am still taking  every precaution possible to further decrease the chance of my Windows PC breaking down or crashing. As a matter of fact, my PC almost crashed  this morning , but luckily, I was able to hard-restart the PC to get it working again by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Luckily,  none of the problems I am experiencing with my PC right now are  anywhere close to what’s h...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
