New probability trend opened: Atlantic City

Throughout Groundhog Weekend 2018, we are anticipating a possible chance of going to Atlantic City to see a performance by a comedy actor. According to the probability trends, this may include a variable chance of us staying at the Borgata, the Harrah's, or the Courtyard by Marriott.

The trends you see above show the forecasted likelihood of us staying at any of the 3 hotels on February 2nd-3rd x amount of weeks after the Atlantic City idea was conceived. As you could clearly tell from the above graph, if Atlantic City is to happen on February 2nd / 3rd, we will most likely end up staying at the Borgata. Thumbs up to those brave traitors ready to summit 100. The blue trendline below the Borgata's beautiful pink trendline shows the probability (percentile) of us booking a room at the Harrah's Atlantic City hotel. As you could clearly see, that is sitting at a constant 19 percent. Y'all Marriott fans are probably super angry right now, but the trendline for the Courtyard Marriott's likelihood is seen dropping hugely from December 10 to December 17 & then consistently staying at a 3% likelihood of happening until January 28.

From what the graph is telling me now, I am excited for the possible result. As we get closer to January 28, I will be supplying blog posts on here solely on trip updates for Atlantic City, which will mostly show the likelihood of us going. If it turns out to be a near certain we're going & we are STILL considering going & we have a hotel reservation set up, you will get new blog posts & #FRIRND posts throughout the week of January 28 which will tell you what lifts I am hoping to film at the hotel I'm staying at. Due to definite time restraints I will encounter (If AC is still happening by that point in time), I could only HOPE to film as many lifts as I could. Because the hotels are so big, I CANNOT get to all of the lifts, but THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WILL NOT TRY TO! I will make great efforts, since Atlantic City is the casino-style Charlotte based on how nice the lifts are.

In case you were interested, I used the data from every other possible PB trend & subtrend since our February 2017 Fort Lauderdale trip to create the most accurate forecasted PB trend for Atlantic City.
Of course when trips to epic cities to film lifts are idealized early, that doesn't necessarily validate the phrase "We're totally going!" This is where rollercoaster-themed PB trends become best friends!

What to remember

What you need to remember here is the graphs are not always accurate & new graphs will pop up on new trip update blog posts over the next two months.

Why Schindler & KONE make the best traction lifts

Over the past 2 & a half years of filming lifts at different buildings all over the Eastern Seaboard, I have managed to film a handful of OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp & KONE traction lifts. Here is my assumption: Schindler & KONE make the best traction & MRL traction lifts of any of the 4 major lift brands. Of course, this could be based on personal bias, but it doesn’t go without knowledge that Schindler lifts, are in fact, more efficient time-based than let’s say, ThyssenKrupp lifts. Here are some things that I really love about Schindler & KONE traction lifts. Their fast acceleration / leveling It is no surprise that Schindler & KONE have some of the fastest average accelerating rates of any major lift brand. This is because Schindler & KONE have a perfect reference-tackle system, which is almost unbeatable by standards of other lift brands. One thing I have noticed when riding Schindler lifts is even at low speeds (200-400 FPM), you head feels like...

THE OTIS IN ANAHEIM

Before writing this report, let me quickly give you some background on the lifts and escalators that I have seen during my time at DisneyLand in Anaheim, California with my family. Brief Overview While I was at DisneyLand in Anaheim, I have encountered four sets of very tall MontgomeryKONE escalators, a set of two very fast MontgomeryKONE traction units (partially outdoor as the first landing had a rear door that opened on the outside of the building), this OTIS hydro here that I managed to ride and film & another OTIS hydro that I didn’t get to ride nor film. These lifts, regardless, were still very awesome lifts, but for now, I will be going into a description of this amazing lift. What made this lift so amazing? This particular lift is so amazing because it’s a full-blown commercial hydraulic lift installed fully outdoors , which is rather unusual for an outdoor lift. This alone made it amazing. Upon first glance, it looks like a pretty standard lift that you would typical...
